مجلد 13 · صفحة 203

الترجمة · EN

: 18334: The sky/heaven: 7: Al-Manthur: (7/147-149).

3237: 18335: Painful: 1: Al-Manthur: (7/147).

: 18336: Qittana: 2: Regarding His (Exalted is He) saying: "And they said, 'Our Lord, hasten for us our qittana (record/portion).'" Mujahid said: "Our punishment." Qatada likewise said: "Our portion of the punishment." Al-Hasan said: "Our portion of Paradise so that we may enjoy it in this world." Sa'id ibn Jubayr said the same. It is well-known in the language that "qitt" is used for a portion, and that a document written for a prize/gift is called "raqit." Al-Farra' said: "'Al-Qitt' in the speech of the Arabs means a record and a portion. From this, it is said for a prayer (lit: salat) 'qitt'." Al-Manthur: (7/147-149).

: 18337: Paradise: 3: Previous source.

: 18338: Abyssinia: 4: Al-Manthur: (7/149).

: 18339: Al-Khattab: 5: Tafsir Ibn Kathir: (7/51).

3238: 18340: His kingdom: 1: Al-Manthur: (7/154).

: 18341: Understanding: 2: Previous source.

: 18342: Al-Khattab: 3: Al-Manthur: (7/154).

: 18343: School of thought: 4: Ibn Kathir said: "The commentators have brought forth a story, most of which is taken from the Isra'iliyyat (Judeo-Christian traditions). No hadith has been established from the Infallible (Prophet) that must be followed in this regard. Ibn Abi Hatim narrated a hadith whose chain of narration is not authentic; therefore, it is better to limit oneself to merely reciting the story and to refer its knowledge to Allah (the Almighty, the Majestic), for the Quran is the truth, and what it contains is also the truth." See: (7/5).

3239: 18343: Upon him: 1: Al-Manthur: (7/155).

: 18344: Anas: 2: See: Previous commentary: 18344: In exchange for: 3: Al-Baghawi (6/48), Al-Tabari (23/96), and Al-Manthur (7/156, 157).
