Shaykh al-Albani said: The manifest view is that it is among the Isra'iliyyat which were transmitted by the People of the Book, who do not believe in the infallibility of the prophets. Yazid al-Qurashi erred in attributing it to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
