He said: "Al-Kifl was a man from the Children of Israel who did not refrain from any sin he committed. A woman came to him, and he gave her sixty dinars on the condition that he would have intercourse with her. When he sat between her legs in the manner of a man with his wife, she trembled and wept. He asked: 'What makes you weep? Did I force you?' She replied: 'No, but this is an act I have never done, and it was only need that drove me to it.' He said: 'So you would do this, having never done it before?' Then he got up and said: 'Go with the dinars; they are yours.' Then he said: 'By Allah, al-Kifl will never disobey Allah again.' He died that very night, and in the morning, it was written upon his door: 'Allah has forgiven al-Kifl.'" See: (Tafsir Ibn Kathir: 3/191).

: 13704: To his people: 2: al-Manthur: (5/665).
