2562: 14320: And action: 1: Imam Ahmad narrated in his Musnad, in marfu' form: "The likeness of one who hears wisdom but does not speak of anything but the worst of what he heard is like a man who came to a shepherd and said: 'Slaughter a sheep for me.' The man said: 'Go and take the ear of whichever one you wish.' So he went and took the ear of the shepherd's dog."

Narrated by Ahmad (2/508), Ibn 'Adi in al-Kamil (4/1843), Ibn Kathir (6/35), al-Mughni 'an Haml al-Asfar (2/231), and al-Majma' (1/128), and he attributed it to Abu Ya'la; it contains 'Ali ibn Zayd, who is weak, and there is disagreement regarding utilizing him as proof.

2564: 14334: About her: 1: Narrated from: 'Ali ibn Zayd ibn Jud'an, from his grandmother, from 'A'ishah—may Allah be pleased with her—who said:

"I have been granted nine things that no other woman was granted: Gabriel—peace be upon him—descended with my image in his palm when the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) was commanded to marry me. He married me as a virgin, and he did not marry a virgin other than me. He (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) passed away while his head was in my lap. He was buried in my house, and the angels surrounded my house. When the revelation would descend upon him while he was among his family, they would move away from him, but when it would descend upon him while I was with him in a group, it would not separate me from his body. I am the daughter of his successor and his companion (Siddiq). My innocence was sent down from the sky, and I was created good and from a good person."
