15424: Mighty and Majestic: 1: It was narrated from Abu Malik al-Ash'ari, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "When the son of Adam goes to sleep, the angel says to the devil: 'Give me your scroll.' He gives it to him, and whatever good deeds he finds in his scroll, he wipes out ten bad deeds from the scroll of the devil and writes them as good deeds. So if any of you wants to sleep, let him say 'Allahu Akbar' thirty-three times, 'Alhamdulillah' thirty-four times, and 'SubhanAllah' thirty-three times; that makes one hundred." Narrated by al-Tabarani (3/336), Ibn Kathir (6/137), al-Manthur (5/80), al-Kanz (41307), and al-Majma' (10/121), and he attributed it to al-Tabarani; it contains Isma'il ibn 'Ayyash, who is weak.
15429: Good deeds: 1: Tafsir Ibn Kathir (3/327).
15439: Good deeds: 1: Tafsir Ibn Kathir (3/327).
 15443: An exit: 1: Al-Tabari (19/28) and al-Manthur (5/79, 6/386).
15444: And glorifies: 1: Tafsir Ibn Kathir (3/328).
15450: Falsehood: 1: Al-Qurtubi said in the commentary on this verse: i.e., they do not attend to falsehood and vanity, nor do they witness it. Falsehood (al-zur) is every vanity or embellished lie, the greatest of which is polytheism and the glorification of idols, which is how al-Dahhak, Ibn Zayd, and Ibn Abbas interpreted it.
15463: Nobly: 1: The saying of the Almighty: "And when they pass by ill speech, they pass by with dignity." Discussion has already preceded regarding "ill speech" (al-laghw), which is every dropped or useless word or action. It includes singing, amusement, and other things close to that, and it includes the foolishness of the polytheists, their harming of the believers, the mentioning of women, and other forbidden matters.
