3278 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr b. Hammad reported to us, Asbat reported to us, from al-Suddi, regarding: "That is the enjoyment of the worldly life, and Allah has with Him the best of returns (al-ma'ab)." As for the best of returns, it is the best of endings, and it is: The Garden (Paradise).
His saying, the Exalted: "Say: Shall I inform you of better than that? For those who fear Allah, with their Lord..."
3279 - Al-Hasan b. Ahmad narrated to us, Ishaq b. Isma'il reported to us, Yazid b. Zuray' reported to us, Sa'id reported to us, from Qatadah, regarding his saying: "Shall I inform you of better than that?" It was mentioned to us that 'Umar b. al-Khattab used to say: "O Allah, You have adorned the world for us, and You have informed us that what is after it is better than it, so grant us our share in that which is better and more lasting."
His saying, the Exalted: "Gardens"
3280 - 'Amr b. 'Abd Allah al-Awdi narrated to us, Waki' reported to us, from Sufyan, from Abu Ishaq, from 'Alqamah, from 'Abd Allah, who said: The Garden is temperate; there is no heat in it, nor cold.
His saying, the Exalted: "Under which rivers flow"
3281 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Waki' reported to us, from al-A'mash, from 'Abd Allah b. Murrah, from Masruq, who said: 'Abd Allah said: The rivers of the Garden gush forth from a mountain of musk.
3282 - Abu Bakr b. Abi Musa narrated to us, Harun b. Hatim reported to us, 'Abd al-Rahman b. Abi Hammad reported to us, from Asbat, from al-Suddi, from Abu Malik, regarding his saying: "Under which rivers flow," meaning dwellings, beneath which rivers flow.
3283 - It was read to al-Rabi' b. Sulayman, Asad b. Musa reported to us, Ibn Thawban reported to us, from 'Ata' b. Qurrah, from 'Abd Allah b. Damrah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "The rivers of the Garden gush forth from beneath hills, or from beneath mountains of musk."

٣٢٧٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ ذَلِكَ مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَاللَّهُ عِنْدَهُ حَسَنُ الْمَآبِ أَمَّا حُسْنُ الْمَآبِ فَحُسْنُ الْمُنْقَلَبِ وَهِيَ:
الْجَنَّةُ.
قوله تعالى: قل أأنبئكم بِخَيْرٍ مِنْ ذَلِكُمْ لِلَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ
٣٢٧٩ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، ثنا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قتادة قوله: أأنبئكم بِخَيْرٍ مِنْ ذَلِكُمْ ذُكِرَ لَنَا أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ كَانَ يَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ زَيَّنَتَ لَنَا الدُّنْيَا، وَأَنْبَأْتَنَا أَنَّ مَا بَعْدَهَا خَيْرٌ مِنْهَا، فَاجْعَلْ حَظَّنَا فِي الَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَى.

٣٢٨٠ - حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأَوْدِيُّ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: الْجَنَّةُ سَجْسَجٌ، «١» لَا حَرَّ فِيهَا وَلا بَرْدٌ.

٣٢٨١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الله ابن مُرَّةَ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ: أَنْهَارُ الْجَنَّةِ تُفَجَّرُ مِنْ جَبَلِ مِسْكٍ.
٣٢٨٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي مُوسَى، ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ابْنُ أَبِي حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ أَسْبَاطٍ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ قَوْلُهُ: تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ يَعْنِي الْمَسَاكِنَ تَجْرِي أَسْفَلَهَا أَنْهَارٌ.
٣٢٨٣ - قُرِئَ عَلَى الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا ابْنُ ثَوْبَانَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ قُرَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَنْهَارُ الْجَنَّةِ تَفْجُرُ مِنْ تَحْتِ تِلالٍ، أَوْ مِنْ تَحْتِ جِبَالِ الْمِسْكِ.
