camel meat and the omentum. So He made them lawful for them by the tongue of 'Isa (Jesus), and things from the birds that had no talons were forbidden to them in the Injil (Gospel). Thus, that which 'Isa brought was softer than that which Musa (Moses) had brought them.
His saying, the Exalted: "And I have come to you with a sign from your Lord."
3558 - Hajjaj b. Hamzah narrated to us, Shababah reported to us, Warqa' reported to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, regarding His saying: "And I have come to you with a sign from your Lord," he said: That which 'Isa explained to them of matters and that which his Lord gave him.
His saying: "So fear Allah and obey me."
3559 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya b. 'Abd Allah reported to us, Ibn Lahi'ah reported to us, 'Ata' narrated to me, from Sa'id b. Jubayr, regarding "So fear Allah," meaning: the believers, warning them.
His saying, the Exalted: "Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord."
3560 - Muhammad b. Yahya narrated to us, Abu Ghassan informed us, Salamah reported to us, [who] said: Muhammad b. Ishaq said: "And I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so fear Allah and obey me. Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord," as a disavowal of what they say about him, and as an argument for his Lord against them.
His saying, the Exalted: "So worship Him."
3561 - Through him (the same chain), from Ibn Ishaq, Muhammad b. Abi Muhammad said, from 'Ikrimah or Sa'id b. Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "So worship [Him]," meaning: assert His oneness (tawhid).
His saying, the Exalted: "This is a straight path."
3562 - Through him (the same chain), Muhammad b. Ishaq said: "This is a straight path," meaning: this guidance which I have carried you upon and brought to you.
His saying, the Exalted: "But when 'Isa felt disbelief from them."
3563 - Through him (the same chain), he said: Muhammad b. Ishaq said: "But when 'Isa felt disbelief from them" and hostility towards him, he said: "Who are my helpers in the cause of Allah?"

لُحُومُ الإِبِلِ، وَالثُّرُوبُ «١» ، فَأَحَلَّهَا لَهُمْ عَلَى لِسَانِ عِيسَى، وَحُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ أَشْيَاءُ مِنَ الطَّيْرِ مَالا صِيصَةَ لَهُ، فِي الإِنْجِيلِ، فَكَانَ الَّذِي جَاءَ بِهِ عِيسَى أَلْيَنَ مِمَّا جَاءَهُمْ بِهِ مُوسَى.
قَولُهُ تَعَالَى: وَجِئْتُكُمْ بِآيَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ
٣٥٥٨ - حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، ثنا شَبَابَةُ، ثنا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ «٢» قوله: وَجِئْتُكُمْ بِآيَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ قَالَ: مَا بَيَّنَ لَهُمْ عِيسَى مِنَ الأَشْيَاءِ وَمَا أَعْطَاهُ رَبُّهُ.
قَوْلُهُ: فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
٣٥٥٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ثنا، ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءٌ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جبير فاتقوا الله يَعْنِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُحَذِّرُهُمْ.
قَولُهُ تَعَالَى: إِنَّ اللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمْ
٣٥٦٠ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو غَسَّانَ، ثنا سَلَمَةُ، قَالَ: قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ: وَجِئْتُكُم بِآيَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ فَاتَّقُواْ اللهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمْ تَبَرُّئًا مِمَّا يَقُولُونَ فِيهِ، وَاحْتِجَاجًا لِرَبِّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ.
قَولُهُ تَعَالَى: فَاعْبُدُوهُ
٣٥٦١ - وَبِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ أَوْ سعيد ابن جبير، عن ابن عباس قوله فاعبدوا أَيْ: وَحِّدُوا.
قَولُهُ تَعَالَى: هَذَا صِرَاطٌ مُسْتَقِيمٌ
٣٥٦٢ - وَبِهِ قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ هَذَا صِرَاطٌ مُسْتَقِيمٌ أَيْ: هَذَا الْهُدَى قَدْ حَمَلْتُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَجِئْتُكُمْ بِهِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَلَمَّا أَحَسَّ عِيسَى مِنْهُمُ الْكُفْرَ
٣٥٦٣ - وَبِهِ قَالَ: قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ فَلَمَّا أَحَسَّ عِيسَى مِنْهُمُ الْكُفْرَ وَالْعُدْوَانَ عَلَيْهِ، قَالَ مَنْ أَنْصَارِي إِلَى اللَّهِ.
