His saying: "So do not take anything from it"

5063 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah narrated to us, Shababah narrated to us, Warqa' narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, regarding His saying: "So do not take anything from it," he said: It is not permissible for him to take anything from the property of the divorced woman, even if it is a great amount.

His saying: "And would you take it while having committed a manifest injustice (buhtan)?"

5064 - And by the same chain from Mujahid, regarding His saying: "buhtan," he said: Sin.

His saying: "And a manifest sin (ithman mubina)"

5065 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bukayr narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn Lahi'ah narrated to me, 'Ata' ibn Dinar narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, regarding the saying of Allah the Exalted "mubina," he means: The clear (al-bayyin).

His saying: "mubina"

He means: The clear.

His saying: "And how could you take it while some of you have already mingled with others?"

[The first interpretation]

5066 - My father narrated to us, Muqatil ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Waki' narrated to us, from Sufyan, from 'Asim, from Bakr ibn 'Abd Allah al-Muzani, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "while some of you have already mingled (afda) with others," he said: Al-ifda' is sexual intercourse. Similar to this was also narrated from Mujahid and al-Suddi.

[The second interpretation]

5067 - I read to Muhammad ibn al-Fadl, Muhammad ibn 'Ali narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Muzahim informed us, from Bukayr ibn Ma'ruf, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan, regarding His saying: "while some of you have already mingled with others," [he said]: Magnification.

His saying: "And they have taken from you a solemn covenant"

5068 - My father narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn 'Imran al-Asadi narrated to us, Yahya ibn Yaman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Habib ibn Abi Thabit, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "And they have taken from you a solemn covenant," he said: It is the man's saying: "I have taken possession (malaktu)." And it was narrated from Sa'id ibn Jubayr that he said: It is his saying: "I have married (qad nakahtu)" at the time of the proposal.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَلا تَأْخُذُوا مِنْهُ شَيْئاً

٥٠٦٣ - حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، ثنا شَبَابَةُ، ثنا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قوله: فَلا تَأْخُذُوا مِنْهُ شَيْئاً قَالَ: فَلا يَحِلُّ لَهُ مِنْ مَالِ الْمُطَلَّقَةِ شَيْءٌ وَإِنْ كَثُرَ.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: أَتَأْخُذُونَهُ بُهْتَاناً

٥٠٦٤ - وَبِهِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَوْلَهُ: بُهْتَاناً قَالَ: إِثْماً.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَإِثْماً مُبِيناً

٥٠٦٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى مُبِينًا يعني:

البين.

قوله تَعَالَى: مُبِيناً

يَعْنِي الْبَيِّنَ.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَكَيْفَ تَأْخُذُونَهُ وَقَدْ أفضى بعضكم إلى بعض

٥٠٦٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا مُقَاتِلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُزَنِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَقَدْ أَفْضَى بَعْضُكُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ قَالَ: الإِفْضَاءُ: الْجِمَاعُ- وَرُوِيَ عَنِ مُجَاهِدٍ «١» وَالسُّدِّيِّ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.

وَالْوَجْهُ الثَّانِي:

٥٠٦٧ - قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُزَاحِمٍ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ مَعْرُوفٍ، عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ قَوْلَهُ: وَقَدْ أَفْضَى بَعْضُكُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ تَعْظِيماً.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَأَخَذْنَ مِنْكُمْ مِيثَاقاً غَلِيظاً

٥٠٦٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ الأَسَدِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَمَانٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلَهُ وَأَخَذْنَ مِنْكُمْ مِيثَاقاً غَلِيظاً قَالَ: هُوَ قَوْلُ الرَّجُلِ: مَلَكْتُ-

وَرُوِيَ عَنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ قَالَ: هُوَ قَوْلُهُ: قَدْ نكحت عند الخطبة.
