His saying, the Almighty: "So marry them"
5149 - Ahmad ibn 'Uthman ibn Hakim al-Awdi narrated to us, Ahmad ibn Mufaddal narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "So marry them with the permission of their people," he said: Let the slave girl be married with the permission of her people. Similar to this was narrated from Muqatil ibn Hayyan.
His saying, the Almighty: "with the permission of their people"
5150 - I read to Muhammad ibn al-Fadl, Muhammad ibn 'Ali narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Muzahim reported, from Bukayr ibn Ma'ruf, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan, regarding His saying: "with the permission of their people," he said: It means: with the permission of their masters.
His saying, the Almighty: "and give them their bridal gifts in kindness"
5151 - And through the same chain from Muqatil ibn Hayyan regarding His saying: "and give them their bridal gifts," he means: their dowries, "in kindness."
His saying, the Almighty: "as chaste women"
5152 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih narrated to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih narrated to me, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "as chaste women, not promiscuous," he means: that you marry them as free, chaste women.
His saying, the Almighty: "not promiscuous"
5153 - And through the same chain from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "not promiscuous," meaning: not adulteresses in secret or openly. Similar to this was narrated from Muqatil ibn Hayyan and Mujahid.
5154 - Ahmad ibn 'Uthman ibn Hakim al-Awdi narrated to us, Ahmad ibn Mufaddal narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "not promiscuous," and the 'musafihah' (promiscuous woman) is the one who commits adultery openly. Similar to this was narrated from al-Dahhak.
His saying, the Almighty: "nor taking secret lovers"
5155 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih narrated to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih narrated to me, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "nor taking secret lovers," he means: boyfriends.
It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah, Mujahid, al-Sha'bi, al-Dahhak, 'Ata' al-Khurasani, Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, Muqatil ibn Hayyan, and al-Suddi that they said: boyfriends. Al-Hasan said: the friend.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَانْكِحُوهُنَّ
٥١٤٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ الأَوْدِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُفَضَّلٍ، ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ قَوْلَهُ: فَانْكِحُوهُنَّ بِإِذْنِ أَهْلِهِنَّ قَالَ: فَلْتُنْكَحِ الأَمَةُ بِإِذْنِ أَهْلِهَا- وَرُوِيَ عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: بِإِذْنِ أَهْلِهِنَّ
٥١٥٠ - قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُزَاحِمٍ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ مَعْرُوفٍ، عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ، قَوْلَهُ: بِإِذْنِ أَهْلِهِنَّ قَالَ:
يَعْنِي: بِإِذْنِ أَرْبَابِهِنَّ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَآتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ
٥١٥١ - وَبِهِ عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ قَوْلَهُ: وَآتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ يَعْنِي: مُهُورَهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: مُحْصَنَاتٍ
٥١٥٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَوْلَهُ: مُحْصَنَاتٍ غَيْرَ مُسَافِحَاتٍ يَعْنِي: تَنْكِحُوهُنَّ حَرَائِرَ عَفَائِفَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: غَيْرَ مُسَافِحَاتٍ
٥١٥٣ - وَبِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلَهُ: غَيْرَ مُسَافِحَاتٍ غَيْرَ زَوَانٍ فِي السِّرِّ وَالْعَلانِيَةِ- وَرُوِيَ عَنِ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ، وَمُجَاهِدٍ نَحْوُهُ.
٥١٥٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ الأَوْدِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُفَضَّلٍ، ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ قَوْلَهُ: غير مسافحات وَالْمُسَافِحَةُ: الْمُعَالِنَةُ بِالزِّنَا- وَرُوِيَ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَلا مُتَّخِذَاتِ أَخْدَانٍ
٥١٥٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَوْلَهُ: وَلا مُتَّخِذَاتِ أَخْدَانٍ يَعْنِي: أَخِلاءَ

وَرُوِيَ عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَمُجَاهِدٍ وَالشَّعْبِيِّ- وَالضَّحَّاكِ وَعَطَاءٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيٍّ وَيَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ وَمُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ وَالسُّدِّيِّ قَالُوا: أَخِلاءَ
، وَقَالَ الْحَسَنُ: الصَّدِيقَ.
