تفسير ابن أبي حاتم
مجلد 4 · صفحة 184قوله تعالى: إنك أنت علام الغيوب

الترجمة · EN

[6972] ‘Umar ibn Thawr al-Qaysari informed me in what he wrote to me, Muhammad ibn Yusuf al-Firyabi narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us from al-A‘mash from Mujahid regarding His saying: "The Day when Allah will assemble the messengers and He will say, 'What answer were you given?' They will say, 'We have no knowledge except what You have taught us.'" He said: Then their hearts will be restored to them, and they will know.

[6973] Ahmad ibn ‘Uthman ibn Hakim informed us in what he wrote to me, Ahmad ibn Mufaddal narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "The Day when Allah will assemble the messengers and He will say, 'What answer were you given?' They will say, 'We have no knowledge.'" This is because they arrived at a station where their intellects departed, so when they were asked, they said: "We have no knowledge." Then they arrived at another station and bore witness against their people.

[6974] My father narrated to us, Ahmad ibn Abi al-Hawari narrated to us, he said: I said to Ishaq ibn Khalaf regarding His saying: "The Day when Allah will assemble the messengers and He will say, 'What answer were you given?' They will say, 'We have no knowledge.'" I said: Did they not know what was upon them in the world? He said: Yes, but because of the gravity of the question, their intellects were struck with confusion, so they did not respond with what they were answered; then when their intellects returned to them afterwards, they understood. Abu Sulayman narrated this and said: They are truthful in their hearing at that moment, then their intellects return to them afterwards and they report what they were answered.

His saying, the Exalted: "Indeed it is You who is the Knower of the unseen"

[6975] My father narrated to us, Abu Salih narrated to us, Mu‘awiya ibn Salih narrated to me from ‘Ali ibn Abi Talha from Ibn ‘Abbas regarding His saying: "The Day when Allah will assemble the messengers and He will say, 'What answer were you given?' They will say," to the Lord, Blessed and Exalted, "We have no knowledge except for knowledge that You are more knowing of than us."

His saying, the Exalted: "When Allah will say, 'O Jesus, son of Mary, remember My favor upon you and upon your mother'"

[6976] Abu Zur‘a narrated to us, ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Ibrahim Duhaym narrated to us, al-Walid ibn Muslim narrated to us, Rawh ibn Janah narrated to us from a freed slave of ‘Umar ibn ‘Abd al-‘Aziz that he heard Abu Burda ibn Abi Musa narrating to ‘Umar ibn ‘Abd al-‘Aziz during his governorship of Medina that his father, Abu Musa, narrated to them from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, that he said: "On the Day of Resurrection, every nation will be called by its leader. The Christians will come with the Gospel and mention Jesus, and it will be said: 'Where is Jesus?'" He said: The angels will come to him, and there will remain on his head and body not a single hair but that an angel will grasp it, and it will be elongated... until it is in their hands.
