7158 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, Abu Ghassan narrated to us, Salama narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ishaq said: His saying: al-Hakīm (the Wise), he said: The Wise in His excuse and His proof to His servants. His saying: Say, "What thing is greatest in testimony?" 7159 - Hajjaj ibn Hamza narrated to us, Shababa narrated to us, Warqa' narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, his saying: Say, "What thing is greatest in testimony?" He said: Muhammad was commanded to ask Quraysh. His saying: Say, "Allah is witness between me and you." 7160 - And by the same chain from Mujahid, his saying: Say, "Allah is witness between me and you," he was commanded to ask Quraysh, then he was commanded to inform them, so he would say: Allah is witness between me and you. His saying, Mighty and Majestic: And this Qur'an has been revealed to me that I may warn you thereby. 7161 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih narrated to us, Mu'awiya ibn Salih narrated to me, from Ali ibn Abi Talha, from Ibn Abbas: And this Qur'an has been revealed to me that I may warn you thereby, meaning: the people of Mecca. 7162 - It was read to Yunus ibn Abd al-A'la, Ibn Wahb narrated to us, he said: I heard Sufyan al-Thawri narrating—I do not know it except from Mujahid: And this Qur'an has been revealed to me that I may warn you thereby: the Arabs. His saying: And whoever it reaches. 7163 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih narrated to us, Mu'awiya narrated to me, from Ali, from Ibn Abbas, his saying: And whoever it reaches, meaning: whoever this Qur'an reaches, it is a warner for him among the people. 7164 - Hajjaj ibn Hamza narrated to us, Shababa narrated to us, Warqa' narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, his saying: And whoever it reaches: whoever accepted Islam from the Arabs, the non-Arabs, and others. 7165 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Waki' and Abu Usama and Abu Khalid narrated to us, from Musa ibn Ubayda, from Muhammad ibn Ka'b, his saying: And whoever it reaches, he said: Whoever the Qur'an reaches, it is as if he saw the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, then he recited: And whoever it reaches, do you indeed bear witness?

٧١٥٨ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ، ثنا سَلَمَةُ قَالَ: قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ: قَوْلُهُ: الْحَكِيمُ قَالَ: الْحَكِيمُ فِي عُذْرِهِ، وَحُجَّتِهِ إِلَى عِبَادِهِ.
قَوْلُهُ: قُلْ أَيُّ شَيْءٍ أَكْبَرُ شَهَادَةً
٧١٥٩ - حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، ثنا شَبَابَةُ، ثنا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ «١» قوله: قُلْ أَيُّ شَيْءٍ أَكْبَرُ شَهَادَةً قَالَ: أُمِرَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَنْ يَسْأَلَ قُرَيْشًا.
قَوْلُهُ: قُلِ اللَّهُ شَهِيدٌ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ
٧١٦٠ - وَبِهِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَوْلَهُ: قُلِ اللَّهُ شَهِيدٌ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ، أُمِرَ أَنْ يسأل قريشا، ثم أمرهم أَنْ يُخْبِرَهُمْ فَيَقُولَ: اللَّهُ شَهِيدٌ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ.
قَوْلُهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: وَأُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ هَذَا الْقُرْآنُ لأُنْذِرَكُمْ بِهِ
٧١٦١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: وَأُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ هَذَا الْقُرْآنُ لأُنْذِرَكُمْ بِهِ يَعْنِي: أَهْلَ مَكَّةَ.
٧١٦٢ - قُرِئَ عَلَى يُونُسَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، أنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سُفْيَانَ «٢» الثَّوْرِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلا عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ: وَأُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ هَذَا الْقُرْآنُ لأُنْذِرَكُمْ بِهِ:
الْعَرَبَ.
قَوْلُهُ: وَمَنْ بَلَغَ
٧١٦٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلَهُ: وَمَنْ بَلَغَ يَعْنِي: مَنْ بَلَغَهُ هَذَا الْقُرْآنُ، فَهُوَ لَهُ نَذِيرٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ.
٧١٦٤ - حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، ثنا شَبَابَةُ، ثنا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ «٣» قَوْلَهُ: وَمَنْ بَلَغَ: مَنْ أَسْلَمَ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ وَالْعَجَمِ وَغَيْرِهِمْ.
٧١٦٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ وَأَبُو أُسَامَةَ وَأَبُو خَالِدٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قَوْلَهُ: وَمَنْ بَلَغَ قال: مَنْ بَلَغَهُ الْقُرْآنُ فَكَأَنَّمَا رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ قَرَأَ: وَمَنْ بلغ أإنكم لتشهدون.
