And in the hadith of Abu Khalid there is an addition: it is as if he saw the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and spoke to him. 7166 - al-Hasan ibn Abi al-Rabi' narrated to us, Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Qatada regarding His saying: That I may warn you thereby and whoever it reaches, that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: Convey from Allah, for whoever a verse from the Book of Allah reaches, the command of the Exalted has reached him. 7167 - My father narrated to us, Ahmad ibn Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, Abd Allah ibn Abi Ja'far narrated to us, from his father, from al-Rabi', And this Qur'an has been revealed to me that I may warn you thereby and whoever it reaches, it is a duty upon whoever follows the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, to call as the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, called, and to warn as he warned. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, would not fight anyone among the people until he called them to Islam, and if they refused that, he would cast it back to them on equal terms. His saying: Do you indeed bear witness that there are other gods with Allah? The verse. 7168 - Muhammad ibn al-Abbas, the freed slave of Banu Hashim, narrated to us, Abu Ghassan Muhammad ibn Amr Zunayj narrated to us, Salama narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq, from Muhammad ibn Abi Muhammad, he said: al-Nammam ibn Zayd, Qardam ibn Ka'b, and Bahri ibn Amr came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and they said: O Muhammad, do we not know of a god with Allah other than Him? The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: There is no god but Allah; with that I was sent, and to that I call. So Allah revealed regarding them and their saying: Say, "What thing is greatest in testimony?" Say, "Allah is witness between me and you." And this Qur'an has been revealed to me that I may warn you thereby and whoever it reaches. Do you indeed bear witness that there are other gods with Allah? Say, "I do not bear witness." Say, "He is only one God, and indeed I am innocent of what you associate." His saying, the Exalted: Those to whom We have given the Book. 7169 - al-Hasan ibn Abi al-Rabi' narrated to us, Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Qatada regarding His saying: Those to whom We have given the Book, the Jews and the Christians. His saying: They recognize it as they recognize their sons. The verse. 7170 - And by the same chain from Qatada regarding His saying: Those to whom We have given the Book recognize it as they recognize their sons, he said: The Jews and the Christians recognize the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in their Book as they recognize their sons.
