I heard ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam saying regarding His saying: "And if they were returned, they would return to that which they were forbidden," he said: And they said—when they are returned—: "There is not but our worldly life, and we will not be resurrected."

His saying: "And if you could see when they are made to stand before their Lord..." to the end of the verse-

7221 - al-Hasan ibn Ahmad narrated to us, Musa ibn Muhallim narrated to us, Abu Bakr al-Hanafi narrated to us, ‘Abbad ibn Mansur narrated to us, who said: I asked al-Hasan about His saying: "You disbelieve," he said: "You deny."

His saying: "Those who deny the meeting with Allah have indeed lost"

7222 - Muhammad ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn Yazid al-Muqri’ narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, reporting it to the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), who said: [Allah] will meet the servant on the Day of Resurrection and say: "O so-and-so, did I not honor you, make you a leader, marry you off, subject horses and camels to you, and leave you to preside and prosper? Did you think that you would meet Me?" He will say: "No." [Allah] will say: "Then I shall forget you just as you forgot Me."

His saying: "Until when the Hour comes upon them"

7223 - My father narrated to us, Abu ‘Awn al-Ziyadi narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn Tahman narrated to me, Muhammad ibn Ziyad narrated to me, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "The Hour will be established while a man has his morsel in his mouth; he is chewing it but does not swallow it, nor does he cast it out. And [it will be established] over two men who have spread a garment between them, trading it; they will neither fold it nor complete the purchase."

7224 - My father narrated to me, Abu Salamah Musa ibn Isma‘il narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from ‘Ali ibn al-Hakam, from ‘Ikrimah, that he said: The Hour will not be established until a caller calls out: "O people! The Hour has come to you, the Hour has come to you, the Hour has come to you," three times.

From al-A‘mash, from Abu Sa‘id, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "'Alas for us!'" He said: The 'alas' is when the people of the Fire see their stations in Paradise—within Paradise—he said: That is the 'alas.'

7225 - Abu Zur‘ah narrated to us, Minjab narrated to us, Bishr informed us, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn ‘Abbas regarding His saying: "Alas," he said: Remorse.
