His saying: "For them is the Home of Peace with their Lord."

7887 - My father narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Thawr narrated to us, from Ma'mar, he said: Qatadah said regarding His saying: "For them is the Home of Peace with their Lord," he said: The Home is Paradise. It was narrated from al-Suddi the same.

7888 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Abu Tumaylah narrated to us, from Abu al-Munib, from Abu al-Sha'tha'—meaning Jabir ibn Zayd—regarding His saying: "The Peace (al-Salam)," he said: It is Allah, and it is a name from the names of Allah.

His saying, the Exalted: "And [on] the day He will gather them together."

7889 - 'Amr ibn 'Abd Allah al-Awdi narrated to us, Waki' narrated to us, from al-A'mash, he said: I heard them mentioning from Mujahid regarding: "And [on] the day He will gather them together," he said: The gathering is death.

His saying, the Exalted: "O company of jinn, you have engaged in excessive [misguidance of] mankind."

7890 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih narrated to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih narrated to me, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "O company of jinn, you have engaged in excessive [misguidance of] mankind" by your misguiding them, meaning: You have led many of them astray.

7891 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah narrated to us, Shababah narrated to us, Warqa' narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, regarding His saying: "You have engaged in excessive [misguidance of] mankind," he said: You have become many in whom you have led astray.

7892 - al-Hasan ibn Abi al-Rabi' narrated to us, 'Abd al-Razzaq informed us, Ma'mar informed us, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "O company of jinn, you have engaged in excessive [misguidance of] mankind," he said: You have led many of mankind astray.

His saying: "Their allies among mankind will say, 'Our Lord, some of us made use of others.'"

7893 - My father narrated to us, Abu al-Ashhab Hawdhah ibn Khalifah narrated to us, 'Awf narrated to us, from al-Hasan regarding His saying: "O company of jinn, you have engaged in excessive [misguidance of] mankind," he said: Your Lord has increased those of you destined for the Fire on the Day of Resurrection. And he said: "Their allies among mankind will say, 'Our Lord, some of us made use of others.'" Al-Hasan said: The making use of one another was nothing but that the jinn commanded and mankind performed the deeds."
