The second interpretation:
8913 - My father told us, Hisham ibn Khalid told us, al-Walid ibn Muslim told us, al-Furat ibn al-Walid told us, from Mughith ibn Sumayy, from Tabi' regarding the word of Allah, the Almighty: "the worlds," he said: The worlds are one thousand nations; six hundred in the sea and four hundred on land.
The third interpretation:
8914 - My father told us, Abu Ghassan Malik ibn Isma'il told us, Qays told us, from 'Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas: regarding his saying: "Lord of the worlds," he said: The jinn and mankind. It was also narrated from 'Ali with an unreliable chain of narration, and something similar was narrated from Mujahid.
His saying, the Almighty: "And [recall] when We saved you from the people of Pharaoh"
8915 - 'Isam ibn Rawwad told us, Adam told us, Abu Ja'far told us, from al-Rabi' ibn Anas, from Abu al-'Aliyah regarding his saying: "And [recall] when We saved you from the people of Pharaoh, who were afflicting you with the worst torment," he said: Pharaoh ruled them for four hundred years. The soothsayers told him: "A boy will be born this year in Egypt, and your destruction will be at his hands." So he sent female midwives among the people of Egypt. Whenever a woman gave birth to a boy, he was brought to Pharaoh, who would kill him, while sparing the girls.
8916 - Abu Zur'ah told us, 'Amr ibn Hammad told us, Asbat told us, from al-Suddi: "And [recall] when We saved you from the people of Pharaoh, who were afflicting you with the worst torment, slaughtering your sons and keeping your women alive." He said: It was part of the affair of Pharaoh that he saw a vision in a dream: a fire approached from Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem) until it enveloped the houses of Egypt. It burned the Copts, left the Children of Israel, and burned the houses of Egypt. He summoned the sorcerers, the soothsayers, the qafah (those who discern lineage by footprints), and the hazah (those who interpret the flight of birds). He asked them about his vision, and they said to him: "A man will emerge from this land that the Children of Israel came from—meaning Bayt al-Maqdis—at whose hands the destruction of Egypt will occur." So he ordered that no boy of the Children of Israel be born without being slaughtered, and that no girl born to them be left alive. He said to the Copts: "Look for your slaves who work outside, bring them in, and make the Children of Israel handle those filthy tasks." He assigned the Children of Israel to the tasks of their servants. Thus, no child born to the Children of Israel escaped being slaughtered, and the young did not grow up. Allah cast death upon the elders of the Children of Israel, and it accelerated among them. The leaders of the Copts entered upon Pharaoh and spoke to him, saying: "Death has afflicted these people, and the work is about to fall upon our servants. We slaughter their sons, so the young do not reach adulthood to assist the elders. If you were to spare some of their children..." So he ordered that they be slaughtered one year and spared the next.

٨٩١٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ثنا الْفُرَاتُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ مُغِيثِ بْنِ سُمَيٍّ، عَنْ تَبِيعٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى: الْعَالَمِينَ قَالَ: الْعَالَمُونَ أَلْفُ أُمَّةٍ فَسُتُّمِائَةٍ فِي الْبَحْرِ وَأَرْبَعُمِائَةٍ فِي الْبِرِّ.

٨٩١٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ثنا قَيْسٌ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: فِي قَوْلُهُ: رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ قَالَ: الْجِنُّ وَالإِنْسُ. وَرُوِيَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ بِإِسْنَادٍ لَا يُعْتَمَدُ عَلَيْهِ مِثْلُهُ، وَرُوِيَ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ مِثْلُهُ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَإِذْ أَنْجَيْنَاكُمْ مِنْ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ
٨٩١٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ رَوَّادٍ ثنا آدَمُ، ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ، عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَإِذْ أَنْجَيْنَاكُمْ مِنْ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ قَالَ: إِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ مَلَكَهُمْ أَرْبَعَمِائَةِ سَنَةٍ فَقَالَتْ لَهُ الْكَهَنَةُ. سَيُولَدُ الْعَامُ بِمِصْرَ غُلَامٌ يَكُونُ هَلاكُكَ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ، فَبَعَثَ فِي أَهْلِ مِصْرَ نِسَاءً قَوَابِلَ فَإِذَا وَلَدَتِ امْرَأَةٌ غُلامًا أَتَى بِهِ فِرْعَوْنُ فَقَتَلَهُ وَيَسْتَحِيِي الْجَوَارِي.
٨٩١٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ: وَإِذْ نَجَّيْنَاكُمْ مِنْ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ يُذَبِّحُونَ أَبْنَاءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ نِسَاءَكُمْ قَالَ: كَانَ مِنْ شَأْنِ فِرْعَوْنَ أَنَّهُ رَأَى رُؤْيَا فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنَّ نَارًا أَقْبَلَتْ مِنْ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ حَتَّى اشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَى بُيُوتِ مِصْرَ فَاحْتَرَقَتِ الْقِبْطَ، وَتَرَكَتْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَأَحْرَقَتْ بُيُوتَ مِصْرَ فَدَعَا السَّحَرَةَ وَالْكَهَنَةَ وَالْقَافَةَ وَالْحَازَةَ فَأَمَّا الْقَافَةُ فَهُمُ الْقَافَةُ، وَأَمَّا الْحَازَةُ فَهُمُ الَّذِينَ يَزْجُرُونَ الطَّيْرَ. فَسَأَلَهُمْ عَنْ رُؤْيَاهُ فَقَالُوا لَهُ: يَخْرُجُ مِنْ هَذَا الْبَلَدِ الذي جاء بنوا إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنْهُ يَعْنُونَ بَيْتَ الْمَقْدِسِ رَجُلٌ يَكُونُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ هَلاكُ مِصْرَ، فَأَمَرَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنْ لَا يُولَدَ غُلامٌ إِلا ذَبَحُوهُ، وَلا يُولَدَ لَهُمْ جَارِيَةٌ إِلا تُرِكَتْ وَقَالَ: لِلْقِبْطِ:
انْظُرُوا مَمْلُوكِيكُمُ الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ خَارِجًا فَأَدْخِلُوهُمْ، وَاجْعَلُوا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ يَلُونَ تِلْكَ الأعْمَالَ الْقَذِرَةَ، فَجَعَلَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ فِي أَعْمَالِ غِلْمَانِهِمْ، فَجَعَلَ لَا يُولَدُ لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مَوْلُودٌ إِلا ذُبِحَ فَلا يَكْبُرُ الصَّغِيرُ، وَقَذَفَ اللَّهُ فِي مَشْيَخَةِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْمَوْتَ فَأَسْرَعَ
