ibn Ishaq who said: regarding what Muhammad ibn Abi Muhammad narrated to us from 'Ikrimah or Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas: "And it is they who are the successful," meaning: Those who attained what they sought and were saved from the evil of what they fled from.
His saying the Exalted: "Allah has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment."
Its interpretation has preceded.
10209 - My father narrated to us, the nephew of Ibn Wahb narrated to us, my paternal uncle narrated to us from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Sa'id ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Jumahi who said: I heard Abu Hazim say: "Indeed, Allah prepares for the slave, among His slaves in Paradise, a pearl that is the distance of four barid (furlongs), its doors, its rooms, and its locks have no cracks or fractures. Paradise is a hundred levels; three of them are silver, gold, pearl, chrysolite, and ruby, and ninety-seven that no one knows except He who created them."
His saying the Exalted: "And those who had excuses among the Bedouins came to be permitted [to stay behind]."

10200 - (*) Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Minjab ibn al-Harith narrated to us, Bishr ibn 'Umarah informed us from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "And those who had excuses among the Bedouins came," he said: "They are the people of excuse." And he used to recite it: "Wa ja'a al-mu'dhirun" (with a light dhal).
10201 - My father narrated to us, al-Haytham ibn Yaman narrated to us, al-Hakam narrated to us from al-Suddi who said: Whoever recited it "Wa ja'a al-mu'dhirun" with a light dhal, he said: "The Banu Muqarrin," and whoever recited it "Wa ja'a al-mu'adhdhirun" (with a heavy dhal) "from the Bedouins," he said: "Those who have an excuse."

10202 - My father narrated to us, Abu Ma'mar al-'Anqari narrated to us, 'Abd al-Warith narrated to us from Yunus who said: Al-Hasan used to recite: "Wa ja'a al-mu'adhdhirun from the Bedouins," he said: "They apologized with something that was not the truth."
10203 - It was mentioned from Sahl ibn 'Uthman, Yahya ibn Zakariyya ibn Abi Za'idah narrated to us from his father, from Abu Ishaq: "And those who had excuses among the Bedouins came," it was mentioned to me that they were a group from the Banu Ghifar who came and apologized, but the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) did not excuse them.

ابن إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ: فِيمَا ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ أَوْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: وَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ أَيِ: الَّذِينَ أَدْرَكُوا مَا طَلَبُوا، وَنَجَوْا مِنْ شَرِّ مَا مِنْهُ هَرَبُوا.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: أَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ذلك الفوز العظيم

١٠٢٠٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا ابْنُ أَخِي ابْنِ وَهْبٍ ثنا عَمِّي عَنْ يَحْيَى ابْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْجُمَحِيِّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا حَازِمٍ يَقُولُ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَيَعُدُّ لِلْعَبْدِ مِنْ عَبِيدِهِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ لُؤْلُؤَةً مَسِيرَةَ أَرْبَعَةِ بُرُدٍ، أَبْوَابُهَا وَغُرَفُهَا وَمَغَالِيقُهَا لَيْسَ فِيهَا فَصْمٌ وَلا قَصْمٌ، وَالْجَنَّةُ مِائَةُ دَرَجَةٍ فَثَلاثٌ مِنْهَا وَرِقٌ وَذَهَبٌ وَلُؤْلُؤَةٌ وَزَبَرْجَدٍ وَيَاقُوتٌ، وَسَبْعَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ لَا يَعْلَمُهَا إِلا الَّذِي خَلَقَهَا.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَجَاءَ الْمُعَذِّرُونَ مِنَ الأَعْرَابِ لِيُؤْذَنَ لَهُمْ.

١٠٢٠٠ - (*) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ثنا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، أَنْبَأَ بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي رَوْقٍ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وجاء المعذرون من الأعراب قَالَ: هُمْ أَهْلُ الْعُذْرِ، وَكَانَ يَقْرَؤُهَا: وَجَاءَ الْمُعْذِرُونَ: خَفِيفَةً.
١٠٢٠١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ يَمَانٍ ثنا الْحَكَمُ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ قَالَ: مِنْ قَرَأَهَا وَجَاءَ الْمُعْذِرُونَ خَفِيفَةً، قَالَ: بَنُو مُقَرِّنٍ، وَمَنْ قَرَأَهَا وَجَاءَ الْمُعَذِّرُونَ مِنَ الأَعْرَابِ قَالَ: الَّذِينَ لَهُمْ عُذْرٌ.

١٠٢٠٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ الْعَنْقَرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ عَنْ يُونُسَ قَالَ: كَانَ الْحَسَنُ يَقْرَأُ: وَجَاءَ الْمُعَذِّرُونَ مِنَ الأَعْرَابِ قَالَ: اعْتَذَرُوا بِشَيْءٍ لَيْسَ بِحَقٍّ.
١٠٢٠٣ - ذُكِرَ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ وَجَاءَ الْمُعَذِّرُونَ مِنَ الأَعْرَابِ ذُكِرَ لِي، أَنَّهُمْ نَفَرٌ مِنْ بَنِي غِفَارَ جَاءُوا فَاعْتَذَرُوا فَلَمْ يَعْذُرْهُمْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ- صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ-.
