الترجمة · EN

Quraysh: How quickly he stayed behind from his cousin and let him down! And another thing makes me weep: I used to seek to perform jihad in the path of Allah because Allah the Almighty said: 'Nor do they tread any ground that enrages the disbelievers' (the verse), and I wanted to seek reward from Allah.

His saying, the Almighty: "Nor do they attain from an enemy any attainment except it is recorded for them" (the verse).

10112 - My father told us, Hisham ibn Khalid told us, al-Walid told us, al-Awza'i, Abd Allah ibn al-Mubarak, Ibrahim ibn Muhammad al-Fazari, and Isa ibn Yunus al-Sabi'i told us, that they said regarding the saying of Allah the Almighty: "It was not for the people of Medina and those around them of the Bedouins to stay behind from the Messenger of Allah, nor to prefer their own lives to his" until His saying: "Nor do they attain from an enemy any attainment except it is recorded for them a righteous deed. Indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of the doers of good." They said: This verse remains until the Hour is established.

His saying, the Almighty: "Nor do they spend any expenditure."

10113 - Muhammad ibn Yahya told us, al-Abbas ibn al-Walid al-Narsi informed us, Yazid ibn Zuray' informed us, from Sa'id ibn Abi Arubah, from Qatadah: "Nor do they spend any expenditure, small or large" (the verse), he said: No group of people ever increased in distance from their families in the path of Allah, except that they increased in nearness to Allah.

His saying, the Almighty: "Nor do they cross a valley."

10114 - Musa ibn Harun al-Tusi informed us, in what he wrote to me, al-Husayn ibn Muhammad al-Marwudhi told us, Shayban told us, from Qatadah, regarding His saying: "Nor do they cross a valley except it is recorded for them, that Allah may reward them for the best of what they were doing," he said: No group of people ever increased in distance from their families in the path of Allah, except that they increased in nearness to Allah.

His saying, the Almighty: "And it is not for the believers to go forth altogether."

10115 - Al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah told us, Hajjaj told us, from Ibn Jurayj and Uthman ibn Ata', from Ata' al-Khurasani, from Ibn Abbas, regarding His saying: "Go forth, whether light or heavy," and His saying: "If you do not go forth, He will punish you with a painful punishment," then these verses were abrogated: "And it is not for the believers to go forth altogether," he says: Let a group go forth, and let a group remain with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

10116 - My father told us, Abu Salih told us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih told us, from Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn Abbas, regarding His saying: "And it is not for the believers to go forth altogether," he means: It is not for the believers to go forth all together, and leave the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in Medina alone.

قُرَيْشٌ: مَا أَسْرَعَ مَا تَخَلَّفَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَمِّهِ وَخَذَلَهُ! وَتُبُكِينِي خَصْلَةٌ أُخْرَى: كُنْتُ أَتَعَرَّضُ لِلْجِهَادِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ لأَنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وجل قال: ولا يطؤن مَوْطِئًا يَغِيظُ الْكُفَّارَ الآيَةَ وَكُنْتُ أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَتَعَرَّضَ لِلأَجْرِ مِنَ اللَّهِ.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَلا يَنَالُونَ مِنْ عَدُوٍّ نَيْلا إِلا كُتِبَ لَهُمْ الآيَةَ.

١٠١١٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ ثنا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ وعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفَزَارِيُّ وَعِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ السَّبِيعِيُّ أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: مَا كَانَ لأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُمْ مِنَ الأَعْرَابِ أَنْ يَتَخَلَّفُوا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ وَلا يَرْغَبُوا بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ عَنْ نَفْسِهِ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ: وَلا يَنَالُونَ مِنْ عَدُوٍّ نَيْلا إِلا كُتِبَ لَهُمْ بِهِ عَمَلٌ صَالِحٌ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لا يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ فَقَالُوا: هَذِهِ الآيَةُ إِلَى أَنْ تَقُومَ السَّاعَةُ.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَلا يُنْفِقُونَ نَفَقَةً.

١٠١١٣ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى أَنْبَأَ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ أَنْبَأَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ وَلا يُنْفِقُونَ نَفَقَةً صَغِيرَةً وَلا كَبِيرَةً الآية، قال ك مَا ازْدَادَ قَوْمٌ مِنْ أَهْلِيهِمْ بُعْدًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، إِلا ازْدَادُوا مِنَ اللَّهِ قُرْبًا.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَلا يَقْطَعُونَ وَادِيًا.

١٠١١٤ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ الطُّوسِيُّ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَرُّوذِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَوْلُهُ: وَلا يَقْطَعُونَ وَادِيًا إِلا كُتِبَ لَهُمْ لِيَجْزِيَهُمُ اللَّهُ أَحْسَنَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ قَالَ: مَا ازْدَادَ الْقَوْمُ مِنْ أَهْلِيهِمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بُعْدًا، إِلا ازْدَادُوا مِنَ اللَّهِ قُرْبًا.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَمَا كَانَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ لِيَنْفِرُوا كَافَّةً.

١٠١١٥ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ ثنا حَجَّاجٌ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ وَعُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلُهُ: انْفِرُوا خِفَافًا وَثِقَالا وَقَوْلُهُ: إِلا تَنْفِرُوا يُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا فَنَسَخَ هَؤُلاءِ الآيَاتِ وَمَا كَانَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ لِيَنْفِرُوا كَافَّةً يَقُولُ: لِتَنْفِرَ طَائِفَةٌ، وَلْتَمْكُثَ طَائِفَةٌ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

١٠١١٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثَنَا أَبُو صَالِحٍ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلُهُ: وَمَا كَانَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ لِيَنْفِرُوا كَافَّةً يَعْنِي: مَا كَانَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ لِيَنْفِرُوا جَمِيعًا، وَيَتْرُكُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ وَحْدَهُ.
