[His saying, the Exalted: "For those who have done good"]

[The first interpretation]

10333 - My father told us, Muhammad ibn al-Musaffa told us, Suwayd ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz told us, Zuhayr ibn Muhammad told us, from someone who heard Abu al-'Aliyah, from Ubayy ibn Ka'b, he said: I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about the saying of Allah: "For those who have done good," he said: "The people of Tawhid (monotheism)."

The second interpretation:

10334 - My father told us, Abu Salih told us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih told me, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "For those who have done good," he said: "Those who testified that there is no god but Allah." It was narrated from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib and 'Ikrimah similarly.

The third interpretation:

10335 - My father told us, al-Harith ibn Miskin told us, Ibrahim ibn Abi Mulayh told us, from Dawud ibn Abi Zunbur, from Malik ibn Anas, from Yahya ibn Sa'id, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, regarding the saying of Allah, the Exalted: "For those who have done good," he said: "They did good in the worship of their Lord."

His saying, the Exalted: "The best (al-Husna)"

10336 - Abu Zur'ah told us, Safwan ibn Salih al-Dimashqi told us, al-Walid ibn Muslim told us, Zuhayr ibn Muhammad told us, someone who heard Abu al-'Aliyah al-Riyahi told me, narrating from Ubayy ibn Ka'b: I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about the two additions in the Book of Allah: "For those who have done good [is] the best," he said: "The best is Paradise." It was narrated from Abu Musa al-Ash'ari, Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, al-Hasan, Qatadah, al-Dahhak, and 'Ikrimah similarly.

The second interpretation:

10337 - Abu Zur'ah told us, Minjab told us, Bishr reported to us, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "For those who have done good [is] the best," he said: "The best is the like thereof."

10338 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us in what he wrote to me, Asbagh ibn al-Faraj told us, he said: I heard 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam regarding the saying of Allah: "For those who have done good [is] the best," he said: "The best is Paradise."
