His saying: "In it."

10449 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah told us, Shababah told us, Warqa' told us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, regarding his saying: "When you are involved in it," [he says]: "In the truth, whatever it may be."

His saying, the Exalted: "And there does not escape from your Lord [even] an atom's weight."

10450 - 'Abd Allah ibn Sa'id al-Kindi told us, 'Ubayd Allah ibn Musa told us, from Isra'il, from Abu Yahya, from Mujahid, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding "And there does not escape from your Lord," he says: "It does not disappear from your Lord, Blessed and Exalted is He."

His saying, the Exalted: "Or [anything] smaller than that or greater except that it is in a clear record."

10451 - My father told us, Hisham ibn Khalid told us, Shu'ayb ibn Ishaq told us, Sa'id told us, from Qatadah, regarding his saying: "In a clear record," he said: "All of that is in a clear record with Allah."

His saying, the Exalted: "Unquestionably, [for] the allies of Allah."

10452 - My father told us, Abu Salih (the scribe of al-Layth) told us, 'Abd al-Hamid ibn Bahram told me, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Ghanm, that Abu Malik al-Ash'ari said: "When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, finished his prayer, he turned to the people and said: 'Indeed, Allah has servants who are neither prophets nor martyrs, whom the prophets and the martyrs will envy for their seating and their proximity to Allah.' A man from the Bedouin knelt down and said: 'O Prophet of Allah, describe them for us, make them clear for us.' The face of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, brightened at the questioning of the Bedouin, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: 'They are people from among the people and the scattered tribes, among whom there are no close kinships connecting them; they loved one another for the sake of Allah and they became pure through the purity Allah granted them. On the Day of Resurrection, they will have pulpits of light upon which they will sit, their faces will be light, and their garments will be light. The people will be terrified on the Day of Resurrection, but they will not be terrified, and they are the allies of Allah; no fear will be upon them, nor will they grieve.'"

10453 - My father told us, 'Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah told us, Jarir told us, from 'Umarah ibn al-Qa'qa', from Abu Zur'ah ibn 'Amr, from 'Umar ibn al-Khattab, who said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: 'Indeed, among the servants of Allah are people who are neither prophets nor martyrs, whom the prophets and martyrs will envy on the Day of Resurrection for their station with Allah.' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, inform us who they are and what their deeds are, for we love them for that.'"
