10406 - I read to Muhammad ibn al-Fadl, Muhammad ibn 'Ali narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Muzahim narrated to us, Bukayr ibn Ma'ruf narrated to us, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan, regarding His saying: "With the munkar": He said: "Disobedience to their Lord."
His saying, the Almighty: "They enjoin the evil and forbid the good."
10408 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih narrated to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih narrated to us, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas: "The good: That you testify that there is no god but Allah, and affirmation of what Allah has revealed, and that you fight them for it; and 'there is no god but Allah' is the greatest of good."
His saying, the Almighty: "And they close their hands."
[The First Aspect]
10409 - (*) Hajjaj ibn Hamzah narrated to us, Shababah narrated to us, Warqa' narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid (1): His saying: "They close their hands": They do not extend them with spending in truth.
The Second Aspect:
10500 - My father narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Thawr narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from Qatadah: "They close their hands": He said: "They withhold their hands from every good."
[His saying, the Almighty: They forgot Allah, so He forgot them.]
10501 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Minjab ibn al-Harith narrated to us, Bishr ibn 'Umarah informed us, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "They forgot Allah," he says: "They abandoned Allah."
10502 - 'Abd Allah ibn Sulayman narrated to us, al-Husayn ibn 'Ali narrated to us, 'Amir ibn al-Furat narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi, regarding His saying: "They forgot Allah," he said: "They abandoned the obedience of Allah."
His saying, the Almighty: "So He forgot them."
10503 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Minjab narrated to us, Bishr informed us, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding His saying: "So He forgot them," he says: "He abandoned them from His reward and His honor."

١٠٤٠٦ - قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُزَاحِمٍ ثنا بُكَيْرُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ قوله: بالمنكر قَالَ: مَعْصِيَةُ رَبِّهِمْ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: يَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمُنْكَرِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمَعْرُوفِ
١٠٤٠٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، الْمَعْرُوفِ، أَنْ تَشْهَدُوا أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ، وَالإِقْرَارُ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ وَتُقَاتِلُونَهُمْ عَلَيْهِ، وَلا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهِ هُوَ أَعْظَمُ الْمَعْرُوفِ
- وَرُوِيَ عَنِ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ قَالَ: التَّوْحِيدُ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: ويقبضون أيديهم.

١٠٤٠٩ - (*) حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ ثنا شَبَابَةُ ثنا وَرْقَاءُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ «١»
قوله: يقبضون أيديهم: لَا يَبْسُطُونَهَا بِنَفَقَةٍ فِي حَقٍّ.
الْوَجْهُ الثَّانِي:
١٠٥٠٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَوْرٍ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ قتادة: يقبضون أَيْدِيَهُمْ قَالَ: يَقْبِضُونَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنْ كُلِّ خَيْرٍ

وَرُوِيَ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: يَقْبِضُونَهَا مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ والخير.
[قوله تعالى: نسوا الله فنسيهم.]
١٠٥٠١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ثنا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، أَنْبَأَ بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي رَوْقٍ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: نَسُوا اللَّهَ يَقُولُ: تَرَكُوا اللَّهَ.
١٠٥٠٢ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا عَامِرُ بْنُ الْفُرَاتِ ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ قَوْلُهُ: نَسُوا اللَّهَ قَالَ: تَرَكُوا طَاعَةَ اللَّهِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَنَسِيَهُمْ.
١٠٥٠٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ثنا مِنْجَابٌ أَنْبَأَ بِشْرٌ عَنْ أَبِي رَوْقٍ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلُهُ: فَنَسِيَهُمْ يقول: تركهم من ثوابه وكرامته.
