10507 - My father narrated to us, 'Abdah ibn Sulayman narrated to us, Ibn al-Mubarak informed us, Abu Ma'shar informed us, from Muhammad ibn Ka'b or from Sa'id regarding His saying: "And you have enjoyed your portion," the verse. He said: "The portion (al-khalaq): is the religion."
10508 - My father narrated to us, 'Abdah narrated to us, Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Sharik, from Layth, from Mujahid, a similar account.
His saying, the Almighty: "As those before you enjoyed their portion."
10509 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Minjab ibn al-Harith narrated to us, Bishr ibn 'Umarah informed us, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "Their portion," he said: "With their religion."
His saying, the Almighty: "And you have engaged in vain talk as they engaged in it."
10500 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us, in what he wrote to me, Asbagh ibn al-Faraj informed us, he said: I heard 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam saying, regarding the saying of Allah: "And you have engaged in vain talk as they engaged in it," he said: "The vain talk (al-khawd) is what they speak of falsehood, and what they engage in regarding the matter of Allah and His messengers, and their denial of them."
His saying, the Almighty: "Those are they whose deeds have become worthless," the verse.
10501 - Abu Bakr ibn Abi Musa narrated to us, Harun ibn Hatim narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Hammad narrated to us, from Asbat, from al-Suddi, from Abu Malik regarding His saying: "Their deeds have become worthless," he says: "Their deeds have become invalid."
His saying, the Almighty: "Has the news of those before them not reached them?"
10502 - Ibn Abi Aslam mentioned it, Ishaq ibn Rahawayh narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Yazid al-Wasiti informed us, Juwaybir narrated to us, from al-Dahhak regarding His saying—from what the hypocrites are rebuked with: "Has the news of those before them not reached them?" the verse.
His saying, the Almighty: "The people of Noah."
10503 - Yunus ibn 'Abd al-A'la informed us, by recitation, Ibn Wahb informed us, Maslamah ibn 'Ulay narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Bashir, from Qatadah: That Noah was sent from the Jazirah (the Arabian Peninsula).
١٠٥٠٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، أَنْبَأَ ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ أَنْبَأَ أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ أَوْ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ قَوْلُهُ: فَاسْتَمْتَعْتُمْ بِخَلاقِكُمْ الآيَةَ، قَالَ: الْخَلاقُ: الدِّينُ.
١٠٥٠٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا عَبْدَةُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ شَرِيكٍ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ نَحْوَهُ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: كَمَا اسْتَمْتَعَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ بِخَلاقِهِمْ.
١٠٥٠٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ثنا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أَنْبَأَ بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي رَوْقٍ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلُهُ: بِخَلاقِهِمْ قَالَ: بِدِينِهِمْ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَخُضْتُمْ كَالَّذِي خَاضُوا.
١٠٥٠٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ أَنْبَأَ أَصْبَغُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ قَالَ:
سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ يَقُولُ: فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: وَخُضْتُمْ كَالَّذِي خَاضُوا قَالَ: الْخَوْضُ: مَا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ بِهِ مِنَ الْبَاطِلِ، وَمَا يَخُوضُونَ فِيهِ مِنْ أَمْرِ اللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ، وَتَكْذِيبِهِمْ إِيَّاهُمْ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: أُولَئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ الآيَةَ.
١٠٥٠١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي مُوسَى ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي حَمَّادٍ عَنْ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ قَوْلُهُ: حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ، يَقُولُ: بَطَلَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: أَلَمْ يَأْتِهِمْ نَبَأُ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ.
١٠٥٠٢ - ذَكَرَ ابْنُ أَبِي أَسْلَمَ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ رَاهَوَيْهِ، أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا جُوَيْبِرٌ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ قَوْلُهُ مِمَّا يُعَيَّرُ بِهِ الْمُنَافِقُونَ أَلَمْ يَأْتِهِمْ نَبَأُ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ الآيَةَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: قَوْمِ نُوحٍ.
١٠٥٠٣ - أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى قِرَاءَةً أَنْبَأَ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، ثنا مَسْلَمَةُ بْنُ عُلَيٍّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ: أَنَّ نُوحًا بُعِثَ مِنَ الْجَزِيرَةِ.
