[Surah al-Kahf]

His saying: "All praise is due to Allah, who has sent down upon His Servant the Book."
12693 - Through the path of Ali, from Ibn Abbas regarding His saying: "All praise is due to Allah, who has sent down upon His Servant the Book and has not made therein any deviance. [It is] straight," he said: "He sent down the Book, just and straight, and He did not make therein any deviance, meaning twisted."
12694 - From Mujahid regarding His saying: "He sent down upon His Servant the Book and has not made therein any deviance," he said: "This is from the category of precedence and postponement (taqdim wa ta'khir); He sent down the Book upon His Servant, straight, and has not made therein any deviance."
His saying: "To warn of a severe punishment."
12695 - From al-Suddi regarding His saying: "To warn of a severe punishment," he said: "A severe torment."
His saying: "From Him."
12696 - From Qatadah regarding His saying: "From Him," meaning: "From His presence."
His saying: "And to give good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a good reward."
12697 - From al-Suddi regarding His saying: "And to give good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a good reward," meaning: "Paradise." And regarding His saying: "And to warn those who say, 'Allah has taken a son,'" he said: "They are the Jews and the Christians."
His saying: "Then perhaps you would kill yourself."
12698 - From Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding His saying: "Then perhaps you would kill yourself," he says: "Destroy yourself."
His saying: "Grieved."
12699 - From Mujahid regarding His saying: "Grieved," he said: "Distressed."
12700 - From Qatadah regarding His saying: "Then perhaps you would kill yourself over their traces, [out of] grief that they do not believe in this message,"

قَوْلِهِ: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الّذِي أَنْزَلَ عَلَى عَبْدِهِ الْكِتَاب
١٢٦٩٣ - مِنْ طَرِيق عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الّذِي أَنْزَلَ عَلَى عَبْدِهِ الكتاب ولم يجعل له عوجا قيما قَالَ: أنزل الْكِتَاب عدلا قيمًا ولم يجعل لَهُ عوجًا ملتسا
١٢٦٩٤ - عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: أَنْزَلَ عَلَى عَبْدِهِ الْكِتَابَ وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ عِوَجَا قَالَ: هَذَا مِنَ التقديم والتأخير، أنزل عَلَى عبده الْكِتَاب قيمًا ولم يجعل لَهُ عوجًا «١» .
قوله: لِيُنْذِرَ بَأْسًا شَدِيدًا
١٢٦٩٥ - عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ فِي قَوْلِهِ: لِيُنْذِرَ بَأْسًا شَدِيدًا قَالَ: عذاباً شديداً «٢» .
قوله: مِنْ لَدُنْهُ.
١٢٦٩٦ - عَنْ قَتَادَة فِي قَوْلِهِ: مِنْ لَدُنْهُ أي مِنْ عنده «٣» .
قوله: يبشر الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ الصَّالِحَاتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا حَسَنًا
١٢٦٩٧ - عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَيُبَشِّرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الَّذِينَ يعملون الصالحات أن لهم أجرا حسنا يَعْنِي: الْجَنَّة. وفي قوله: وَيُنْذِرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ وَلَدًا قَالَ: هم اليهود والنصارى «٤» .
قوله: فَلَعَلَّكَ بَاخِعٌ نَفْسَكَ
١٢٦٩٨ - عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: فَلَعَلَّكَ بَاخِعٌ نَفْسَكَ يَقُولُ: قاتل نفسك «٥» .
قوله: أَسِفًا
١٢٦٩٩ - عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: أَسِفًا قَالَ: جزعا.
١٢٧٠٠ - عَنْ قَتَادَة فِي قَوْلِهِ: فَلَعَلَّكَ بَاخِعٌ نَفْسَكَ عَلَى آثَارِهِمْ إِنَّ لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا بهذا الحديث أسفا
