[as] a child, until he became a man. His saying, Exalted is He: "And you stayed among us for years of your life, and you did your deed which you did."
15558 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah narrated to us, Shababah reported to us, Warqa' reported to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid regarding His saying: "And you did your deed which you did," [meaning] the killing of the person as well.
15559 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, al-'Abbas ibn al-Walid informed us, Yazid ibn Zuray' reported to us, Sa'id reported to us, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "And you did your deed which you did," he says: The killing of the person whom you killed. His saying: "And you are of the ungrateful."
15560 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Hammad reported to us, Asbat reported to us, from al-Suddi: "And you stayed among us for years of your life, and you did your deed which you did, and you are of the ungrateful," [meaning] with us upon our religion which you criticize.
15561 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah reported to us, Ibn Lahi'ah reported to us, 'Ata' narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding the saying of Allah: "And you did your deed which you did, and you are of the ungrateful," he said: Pharaoh reproached Moses when he raised him, saying: You were ungrateful for my favor.
15562 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Isa reported to us, Salamah reported to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq who said: When he stood before Pharaoh, he said: "I am a messenger of the Lord of the worlds." So Pharaoh recognized him and said: "Did we not raise you among us as a child? And you stayed among us for years of your life, and you did your deed which you did, and you are of the ungrateful." [Meaning:] for my kindness toward you and my favor upon you; you did not thank my grace nor my deed, then you killed a man from my subjects.
15563 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed me in what he wrote to me, Asbagh ibn al-Faraj informed us, who said: I heard 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam regarding the saying of Allah: "And you did your deed which you did, and you are of the ungrateful," he said: We raised you among us as a child, so this is how you repaid us, that you killed one of us, and you were ungrateful for our favor.
His saying: "He said, 'I did it then, while I was of the misguided.'"
وَلِيدًا حَتَّى كَانَ رَجُلا قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَلَبِثْتَ فِينَا مِنْ عُمُرِكَ سِنِينَ وَفَعَلْتَ فَعْلَتَكَ الَّتِي فَعَلْتَ
١٥٥٥٨ - حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، ثنا شَبَابَةُ، ثنا ورقا، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَوْلُهُ: وَفَعَلْتَ فَعْلَتَكَ الَّتِي فَعَلْتَ قَتْلُ النَّفْسِ أَيْضًا
١٥٥٥٩ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَنْبَأَ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، ثنا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَوْلُهُ: وَفَعَلْتَ فَعْلَتَكَ الَّتِي فَعَلْتَ يَقُولُ قَتْلُ النَّفْسِ الَّتِي قَتَلْتَ قَوْلُهُ: وَأَنْتَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ.

١٥٥٦١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي عطا، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: وَفَعَلْتَ فَعْلَتَكَ الَّتِي فَعَلْتَ وَأَنْتَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ قَالَ: مَنَّ فِرْعَوْنُ عَلَى مُوسَى حِينَ رَبَّاهُ يَقُولُ كَفَرْتَ نِعْمَتِي
١٥٥٦٢ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، ثنا سَلَمَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ: فَلَمَّا وَقَفَ عَلَى فِرْعَوْنَ قَالَ إِنِّي رَسُولُ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ فَعَرَّفَهُ فِرْعَوْنُ قَالَ: أَلَمْ نُرَبِّكَ فِينَا وَلِيدًا وَلَبِثْتَ فِينَا مِنْ عُمُرِكَ سِنِينَ وَفَعَلْتَ فَعْلَتَكَ الَّتِي فَعَلْتَ وَأَنْتَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ أَيْ لإِحْسَانِي إِلَيْكَ وَفَضْلِي عَلَيْكَ، وَلَمْ تَشْكُرْ نِعْمَتِي وَلا صَنِيعِي، ثُمَّ قَتَلْتَ رَجُلا مِنْ شِيعَتِي.
١٥٥٦٣ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ أَنْبَأَ أَصْبَغُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ قَالَ:
سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: وَفَعَلْتَ فَعْلَتَكَ الَّتِي فَعَلْتَ وَأَنْتَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ قَالَ: رَبَّيْنَاكَ فِينَا وَلِيدًا فَهَذَا الَّذِي كَافَأْتَنَا أَنْ قَتَلْتَ مِنَّا نَفْسًا، وَكَفَرْتَ نِعْمَتَنَا.
قَوْلُهُ: قَالَ فَعَلْتُهَا إِذًا وَأَنَا مِنَ الضَّالِّينَ
