His saying, the Exalted: "And the Day We will gather from every nation a delegation of those who deny Our signs"

16610 - Hajjaj narrated to us, Shababah narrated to us, Warqa' narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid concerning his saying: "From every nation a delegation," he said: "Groups."

His saying, the Exalted: "Our signs"

16611 - Ahmad ibn 'Uthman ibn Hakim narrated to us, Ahmad ibn al-Mufaddal narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi: As for the signs of Allah, it is Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.

His saying, the Exalted: "They will be driven"

16612 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih narrated to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih narrated to me, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding his saying: "They will be driven," he says: "They will be pushed."

16613 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, al-'Abbas reported to us, Yazid narrated to us, Sa'id narrated to us, from Qatadah: "They will be driven," a driving that returns their first to their last.

16614 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi informed us in what he wrote to me, Asbagh ibn al-Faraj reported to us, he said: I heard 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd regarding His saying: "They will be driven," he said: "They will be led."

His saying, the Exalted: "Until when they arrive, He will say: 'Did you deny My signs while you did not encompass them in knowledge?'"

16615 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to me, 'Ata' narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding the saying of Allah: "My signs," meaning: "The Quran."

His saying, the Exalted: "Or what was it that you used to do?"

"And you would create"—they are one [in meaning]. Its chain of transmission has preceded more than once.

His saying, the Exalted: "And the decree will fall upon them because they did wrong"

16616 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, al-'Abbas reported to us, Yazid narrated to us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "And the decree will fall upon them because they did wrong," he says: "The decree became binding upon them," and the decree is: "The wrath."

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ مِنْ كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ فَوْجًا مِمَّنْ يُكَذِّبُ بآياتنا

١٦٦١٠ - حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، ثنا شَبَابَةُ، ثنا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ «١»

قَوْلُهُ: مِنْ كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ فَوْجًا قَالَ: زُمَرًا.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: بِآيَاتِنَا

١٦٦١١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ أَمَّا آيَاتُ اللَّهِ فَمُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ

١٦٦١٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عن ابن عباس قوله: فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ يَقُولُ: يُدْفَعُونَ.

١٦٦١٣ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى أَنْبَأَ الْعَبَّاسُ، ثنا يَزِيدُ ثنا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ وَزْعَةٌ تَرُدُّ أُولاهُمْ عَلَى أُخْرَاهُمْ.

١٦٦١٤ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ، أَنْبَأَ أَصْبَغُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ قَالَ:

سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ زَيْدٍ قَوْلُهُ: يُوزَعُونَ قال: يساقون.

قوله تعالى: حتى إذا جاؤ قَالَ: أَكَذَّبْتُمْ بِآيَاتِي وَلَمْ تُحِيطُوا بِهَا عِلْمًا

١٦٦١٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءٌ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ بِآيَاتِي يَعْنِي بِالْقُرْآنِ.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: أما ذا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

وَتَصْنَعُونَ وَاحِدٌ تَقَدَّمَ إِسْنَادُهُ غَيْرَ مَرَّةٍ.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَوَقَعَ الْقَوْلُ عَلَيْهِم بِمَا ظَلَمُوا

١٦٦١٦ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى أَنْبَأَ الْعَبَّاسُ، ثنا يَزِيدُ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَوْلُهُ: وَوَقَعَ الْقَوْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ بِمَا ظَلَمُوا يَقُولُ: وَجَبَ الْقَوْلُ عليهم والقول:

الغضب.
