17175 - My father narrated to us, al-Haytham ibn Yaman narrated to us, Isma‘il ibn Zakariyya narrated to us, Muhammad ibn ‘Awn al-Khurasani narrated to me, from ‘Ikrimah regarding His saying: "The Home of the Hereafter"—he says: Paradise.
His saying, the Exalted: "We assign it to those who do not desire exaltedness upon the earth"
17176 - Abu Zur‘ah narrated to us, Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah al-Bazzar narrated to us, Isma‘il ibn Zakariyya narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn ‘Awn al-Khurasani, from ‘Ikrimah regarding "We assign it to those who do not desire exaltedness upon the earth," he said: We assign the Home of the Hereafter to those who do not desire exaltedness upon the earth, in the presence of its rulers and kings.

17177 - Abu Sa‘id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Ibn Yaman narrated to us, from Ash‘ath, from Ja‘far, from Sa‘id—meaning Ibn Jubayr—regarding "to those who do not desire exaltedness upon the earth," he said: Transgression.
The second interpretation:
17178 - Ahmad ibn Sinan narrated to us, ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Mansur, from Muslim al-Batin regarding "do not desire exaltedness upon the earth," he said: Exaltedness is arrogance without right."
