and [removes] the filth, and she removes it from all areas when the woman performs it, so he removes it when the man performs it, like all other waters. And because it is water that removes filth by the woman's direct contact, [so he removes it when] the man [performs it], like all other waters. As for the hadith, we do not comprehend its effective cause (‘illah), so it must be restricted to what its wording has specified. Something similar to this is narrated from Ibn Abi Musa.
