Sayyid Muhammad Rashid Rida and Shaykh Abu al-Tahir supervised its correction and added marginal notes, while Shaykh 'Abd al-Qadir Badran wrote an introduction regarding its author. Later, Al-Mughni was printed independently at the Al-Manar printing press in nine parts, and was subsequently released in photographic reprint. It was later published in Cairo by Maktabat al-Qahirah, at the Sijill al-'Arab printing press, between the years 1388 - 1390 AH, with the collaboration of Dr. Taha al-Zayni, Mahmud 'Abd al-Wahhab Fa'id, and 'Abd al-Qadir Ahmad 'Ata in its editing. This is the very book to which we are writing this introduction.

41 - Al-Muqni' Yaqut mentioned it, as did al-Dhahabi, who said: 'One volume'; and al-Safadi, who said: 'One volume'; and Ibn Kathir, who said: 'For memorization'; and Ibn Shakir, Ibn Rajab, and Ibn al-'Imad, who said: 'One volume'; and Hajji Khalifa, who said: 'In the branches of the Hanbali school'; as well as al-Baghdadi and Brockelmann (2). The book was printed at the Al-Manar printing press in Egypt in 1322 AH in two parts, then it was printed at the Al-Salafiyah printing press in Egypt, and later at the Al-Dujwi printing presses in Cairo in 1400 AH in four parts, published by the Al-Sa'idiyah Foundation in Riyadh.
