and al-Nakha'i, Hammad ibn Abi Sulayman, al-Awza'i, and Sa'id ibn Abd al-Aziz; this is because it is a garment for a woman's head, so wiping over it is not permitted, just like the wiqaya (a type of head wrap). It is not sufficient to wipe over the wiqaya, based on a single narration. We know of no disagreement regarding this; because it is not difficult to remove, so it is [like the man's cap].
