At the end, it states: "The first volume was completed with the praise of Allah and His grace on Sunday, in the last ten days of Rabi' al-Akhir, in the year 690 AH, by the hand of the needy one for the pardon and mercy of Allah, Isma'il ibn Muhammad ibn Isma'il al-Harrani, may Allah forgive him, his parents, and all Muslims. May Allah bless our master Muhammad, the unlettered Prophet, and his family, companions, and those who followed them in righteousness until the Day of Judgment." Following that is another book on jurisprudence which differs from al-Mughni. The beginning of what is present [in that section] is before the chapter on the Nullifiers of Ablution, and the start of the chapter on the Nullifiers of Purification is: "The nullifiers of purification are ten things; one of them is the exit of any thing that exits from the two passages..." It ends in the chapter on the rulings of Umm al-Walad (mothers of children) [with]: "...it is incumbent upon her to observe the waiting period after the death of the other of the two, by the longer of four months and ten days, or the acquittal through one menstrual cycle, and she has no inheritance from the husband. And Allah knows best."

Muwaffaq al-Din Abu Muhammad 'Abd Allah ibn Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Qudama al-Maqdisi, may Allah sanctify his soul and illuminate his grave... Paradise by His mercy, amen." Then: "This book is endowed, and it is the second of the book al-Mughni, and what is before it and after it, totaling eight complete parts.
