and what is before it and what is after it by way of a legal sale into the hands of Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn Muhammad al-Hanbali al-Halabi, may Allah pardon him and all the Muslims." At its end: "Its transcription was completed by Muhammad ibn Abi al-Hasan al-Harithi on the middle of the blessed month of Ramadan, in the year 700 [AH]..." The copy was written in a Naskhi script, consists of 260 folios, and has 25 lines per page.
4 - The eleventh part, from the same copy, and it includes from the beginning of the Book of Jihad to the end of the Atonements (Kaffarat). On its front is the previous endowment (waqfiyya) statement. At its end, it states that its scribe, Muhammad ibn Abi al-Hasan al-Harithi, finished it on the middle of Shawwal, in the year 704 [AH]. The part consists of 281 folios and has 25 lines per page.
5 - A part of al-Mughni, incomplete from the beginning. It starts with his saying: "...that its release from the third [of the estate] is considered at the time of death, not before it nor after it, and it differs from a bequest in six matters," from the Book of Bequests, and it ends with the end of the distribution of fay', spoils of war, and charity. The copy was written in a standard script by Ahmad ibn ... ibn 'Ali. We were unable to read the date of transcription due to the poor quality of the imaging. The copy consists of 179 folios and has 21 lines per page.
6 - The sixth part from another copy. Written on its first page are the title of the book and its author, and a list of the chapters from the Book of Divorce to the Chapter on the Maintenance of Slaves. At the top of the page on the left: "Endowed by Sheikh Sulayman al-Najdi to the poor of the Madrasa," meaning the 'Umariyya. At the bottom of the page is a deletion mark over another endowment. Behind the cover of the book: "This book transferred by way of sale or purchase into the hands of the slave poor to Allah the Exalted, Sheikh Muhammad al-Hanbali ibn al-Sayfi, may Allah forgive him, his parents, and all the Muslims." At its end: "Completed by the praise of Allah the Exalted in the month of Rajab al-Fard, in the year 726 [AH], by the hand of Muhammad ibn Yusuf ibn 'Abd Allah al-Yunini, may Allah pardon him." At the bottom of the page: "Endowed by Sheikh Sulayman al-Najdi to the poor of the Hanbalis at the 'Umariyya Madrasa." On the left side of the page: "It has been fully collated to the extent possible." On the page is the seal of the endower, as well as on the title page. The copy was written
