He said: "The anal regions (mahash) of women are forbidden to you." Also, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) who said: "Whoever has intercourse with a menstruating woman, or with a woman in her anus, or visits a soothsayer and believes what he says, has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad." All of these were reported by al-Athram. As for the verse, Jabir reported: "The Jews used to say: 'If a man has intercourse with his wife in her vagina from behind, the child will be cross-eyed.' So Allah revealed: 'Your wives are a tilth for you, so come to your tilth as you will.' [This means] from in front of her or from behind her, provided that he only approaches her in the place of cultivation (the vagina)." (Agreed upon). In another narration: "Approach her while she is facing you or with her back to you, provided that it is in the vagina." The other verse is also intended to mean this.
