120 - ʿAlī ibn al-Ḥasan narrated to me, from Yaḥyā ibn Isḥāq, from al-Mubārak ibn Faḍāla, from al-Ḥasan, he said: “A man reviled a man from the first generation, so the man stood up wiping the sweat from his face while reciting: {And whoever is patient and forgives—indeed, that is of the matters requiring determination} [al-Shūrā: 43].”

121 - al-Ḥasan said: “By Allah, he understood it and comprehended it when the ignorant wasted it.”
