89 - Muḥammad ibn Idrīs narrated to me, Aṣbagh narrated to us, Ibn Wahb informed me, saying: I heard Mālik ibn Anas say: ʿAmr ibn al-ʿĀṣ said: “Indeed, I endure a word that is harsher upon me than grasping a burning coal; nothing impels me to be patient with it except the fear of another word that is worse than it.”
