91 - ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Ṣāliḥ narrated to me, saying: ʿUmar ibn Maʿrūf narrated to us, on the authority of Layth ibn Saʿd, from Muʿāwiya ibn Ṣāliḥ, from Ibn Ḥalbas, who said: I heard Umm al-Dardāʾ say: I heard Abū al-Dardāʾ say: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of God be upon him, say something I had never heard before it or after it; He said: "Allah, Mighty and Majestic, said: 'O Jesus, indeed I am sending after you a nation who, if what they love befalls them, praise and give thanks, and if what they dislike befalls them, seek reward with Allah and remain patient; I shall give them of My forbearance and My knowledge.'"
