100 - Muhammad ibn Ali ibn al-Abbas al-Nasa'i informed us, saying: Ubayd Allah informed us, saying: Abu Ahmad al-Zubayri informed us, saying: Ibrahim, the nephew of Sakan al-Zayyat, informed us, saying: I heard Sufyan ibn Sa'id saying: "I would not have liked to have been present with Ali." He said: So I narrated this to al-Hasan ibn Salih from him, and al-Hasan said: "Tell Sufyan: Is this statement narrated from you?" Then I came to Kufa and said to Sufyan: "O Abu Abd Allah, I narrated your statement regarding this to al-Hasan ibn Salih, and he said: 'Tell Sufyan: Is this narrated from you?'" Sufyan said: "Yes, let it be announced from the minaret, or from the bell tower."
١٠٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ النَّسَائِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللُّهِ، قَالَ: ثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ ابْنُ أُخْتِ سَكَنٍ الزَّيَّاتِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سُفْيَانَ بْنَ سَعِيدٍ، يَقُولُ: " مَا أُحِبُّ أَنِّي كُنْتُ شَهِدْتُ مَعَ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهِ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ صَالِحٍ عَنْهُ، فَقَالَ الْحَسَنُ: قُلْ لِسُفْيَانَ: يُرْوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْكَ؟ فَقَدِمْتُ الْكُوفَةَ، فَقُلْتُ لِسُفْيَانَ: يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، إِنِّي حَدَّثْتُ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ صَالِحٍ بِقَوْلِكَ فِي هَذَا، فَقَالَ: قُلْ لِسُفْيَانَ: يُرْوَى هَذَا عَنْكَ؟ قَالَ: قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: نَعَمْ، لِيُنَادَى بِهِ عَلَى الْمَنَارِ، أَوْ عَلَى الصَّوْمَعَةِ "
