116 - Muhammad ibn al-Husayn informed me that al-Fadl narrated to them, saying: I heard Abu 'Abd Allah [Ahmad ibn Hanbal] when he was asked about the military campaign against Babak, and he said: "I do not know of anyone who has been more harmful to Islam than him, the corrupt evildoer."
١١٦ - أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، أَنَّ الْفَضْلَ، حَدَّثَهُمْ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، وَسُئِلَ، عَنْ غَزْوِ بَابَكَ، فَقَالَ: «مَا أَعْرِفُ أَحَدًا كَانَ أَضَرَّ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ مِنْهُ، الْفَاسِقُ»
