11 - Muhammad ibn 'Awf ibn Sufyan al-Himsi provided us with [a statement], saying: I heard Ahmad ibn Hanbal say: "And the tribulation (fitna) is when there is no Imam to manage the affairs of the people."
١١ - دَفَعَ إِلَيْنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَوْفِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ الْحِمْصِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَحْمَدَ بْنَ حَنْبَلٍ، يَقُولُ: «وَالْفِتْنَةُ إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ إِمَامٌ يَقُومُ بِأَمْرِ النَّاسِ»
