134 - Hamid ibn Ahmad informed me that he heard al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn al-Harith say: I said, "O Abu 'Abd Allah, is it disliked for a man to transport goods such as textiles and hides to a place like Sijistan, for us to sell them in the city to people who do not hold the views of the Khawarij, except that he [the trader] considers it appropriate to transport them to them [the inhabitants of Sijistan]?" He saw no harm in selling to those who do not hold the views of the Khawarij. I said, "Do you consider it appropriate to transport them to them?" He said, "He acts according to what he deems right," as if he saw no harm in transporting them to them, meaning the people of Sijistan among those who do not hold the views of the Khawarij.
