138 - Al-Maymuni informed us, saying: Ibn Hanbal narrated to us, saying: Hushaym narrated to us, saying: Al-'Awwam informed us, saying: Abu Ghalib narrated to us, from Abu Umamah regarding the verse: "'So when they deviated, Allah caused their hearts to deviate' [As-Saff: 5], he said: 'They are the Khawarij.'"
١٣٨ - أَخْبَرَنَا الْمَيْمُونِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا ابْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أَنَا الْعَوَّامُ، قَالَ: ثَنَا أَبُو غَالِبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ: " {فَلَمَّا زَاغُوا أَزَاغَ اللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمْ} [الصف: ٥] قَالَ: هُمُ الْخَوَارِجُ "
