173 - Muhammad ibn al-Husayn informed me that al-Fadl narrated to them, saying: I heard Abu Abd Allah say regarding this matter: "If he turns away, do not pursue him, and if he reaches a position where you know he cannot reach you, then do not pursue him."
١٧٣ - أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، أَنَّ الْفَضْلَ حَدَّثَهُمْ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ فِي هَذِهِ الْمَسْأَلَةِ: «فَإِنْ وَلَّى فَلَا تَتَّبِعْهُ، وَإِنْ صَارَ فِي مَوْضِعٍ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ لَا يَصِلُ إِلَيْكَ فَلَا تَتَّبِعْهُ»
