For the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said to Abu Dharr regarding the time of civil strife (fitna): "Stay in your house." He also said: "If you fear the glare of the sword, then cover your face."
لِأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِأَبِي ذَرٍّ فِي الْفِتْنَةِ: «اجْلِسْ فِي بَيْتِكَ» ، قَالَ: «فَإِنْ خِفْتَ شُعَاعَ السَّيْفِ فَغَطِّ وَجْهَكَ»
