255 - And I heard Abu Bakr ibn Sadaqah say: I heard al-Hasan ibn Shabib al-Mughazili say: Abu Bakr ibn Salm said: 'Bring out the tafsir (exegesis) which we heard from the hadith of Waki' in Tarsus, from 'Isa ibn Yunus, for in it is the hadith that a surplus remained from the Throne (al-'Arsh).' Abu Bakr ibn Sadaqah said: 'Meaning in the hadith of 'Abd Allah ibn Khalifah from 'Imran that the Throne creaks due to Him.' Al-Husayn ibn Shabib said: Abu Bakr ibn Salm said: "That surplus is the seat of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, where he sits with Him."
٢٥٥ - وَسَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنَ صَدَقَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ شَبِيبٍ الْمُغَازِلِيَّ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ سَلْمٍ: أَخْرَجَ التَّفْسِيرَ الَّذِي سَمِعْنَاهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ وَكِيعٍ بِطَرَسُوسَ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ يُونُسَ، فَإِنَّ فِيهِ حَدِيثَ أَنَّهُ فَضَلَ مِنَ الْعَرْشِ فَضْلَةٌ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ صَدَقَةَ يَعْنِي فِي حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ خَلِيفَةَ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ أَنَّ الْعَرْشَ يَئِطُّ بِهِ، قَالَ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ: قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ سَلْمٍ: «تِلْكَ الْفَضْلَةُ مَجْلِسُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الَّذِي يَجْلِسُ مَعَهُ»
