306 - Abu Bakr narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Hisham, the amanuensis (mustamli) of Ibn 'Arafah, narrated to us, saying: Al-Hasan ibn 'Arafah narrated to us, from 'Ali ibn Thabit al-Jazari, from Ghalib ibn 'Ubayd Allah al-'Uqayli, who said: The Meccans narrated to me, and he mentioned among them 'Ata' and 'Amr ibn Dinar: That Allah, Mighty and Majestic is He, will become angry on the Day of Resurrection with an anger such as He has never been angry with before. Our Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, will then stand and praise Allah with that which He is worthy of. He [the narrator] said: Allah, Mighty and Majestic is He, will say to him: "Approach." He [the narrator] said: Then He will become angry, and our Prophet will stand and praise Allah with that which He is worthy of, and He will say to him: "Approach." He will continue to say to him: "Approach," until He seats him upon the Throne. He [the narrator] said: And Jibril, peace be upon him, will be standing, and the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, will say: "Indeed this one," meaning Jibril, "brought me Your messages." Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, will say: "He has spoken the truth."
