308 - Abu Bakr said: And Muhammad ibn Ishaq mentioned, from 'Ali ibn Mas'adah, who said: Yahya ibn Kathir narrated to us, saying: Salm ibn Ja'far al-Bakrawi narrated to us, from al-Jurayri, from Sayf al-Sadusi, from 'Abd Allah ibn Salam, who said: "When the Day of Resurrection occurs, the Compeller (Al-Jabbar) shall descend from His Throne while His foot is upon the Footstool (Kursi), and your Prophet, peace be upon him, shall be brought, and He shall seat him before Him upon the Footstool." I said: "O Abu Mas'ud, upon the Footstool—when he is upon the Footstool, is he with Him?" He said: "Yes, woe to you! This is the most comforting hadith in the world to my eyes."
٣٠٨ - قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: وَذَكَرَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَسْعَدَةَ، قَالَ: ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا سَلْمُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْبَكْرَاوِيُّ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَيْفٍ السَّدُوسِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ، قَالَ: «إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ يَنْزِلُ الْجَبَّارُ عَنْ عَرْشِهِ وَقَدَمَيْهِ عَلَى الْكُرْسِيِّ، وَيُؤْتَى بِنَبِيِّكُمْ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ، فَيُقْعِدُهُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ عَلَى الْكُرْسِيِّ» ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ، عَلَى الْكُرْسِيِّ إِذَا كَانَ عَلَى الْكُرْسِيِّ فَهُوَ مَعَهُ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، وَيْلَكُمْ، هَذَا أَقَرُّ حَدِيثٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا لِعَيْنَيَّ
