319 - Abu Bakr narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Bishr ibn Sharik al-Nakha'i narrated to us, saying: 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Sharik narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to me, saying: 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Rufay' and Salim al-Aftas narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, who said: "When Dawud (David) looked at his opponent, he would turn away fleeing from him. Then Allah (the Mighty and Majestic) would call out, 'O Dawud, draw near to Me.' And He would continue to bring him closer until he touched parts of Him."
