49 - Muhammad informed us, saying: Waki' reported, from al-A'mash, from Zayd ibn Wahb, from 'Abd ar-Rahman ibn 'Abd Rabb al-Ka'bah, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Whoever pledges allegiance to an Imam, giving him the pledge of his hand and the fruit of his heart, let him obey him as much as he is able."
٤٩ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَ وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ رَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ بَايَعَ إِمَامًا فَأَعْطَاهُ صَفْقَةَ يَدِهِ ⦗١٠٧⦘، وَثَمَرَةَ قَلْبِهِ، فَلْيُطِعْهُ مَا اسْتَطَاعَ»
