53 - Muhammad informed us, saying: Waki' informed us, from Yunus ibn 'Amr, from al-'Aizar ibn Hurayth, from Umm al-Husayn al-Ahmasiyyah, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, while he was delivering a sermon at 'Arafah, wearing a cloak wrapped around himself, and he was saying: "If a Habashi (Abyssinian) slave with mutilated extremities is appointed as a ruler over you, then listen and obey, as long as he leads you by the Book of Allah."
٥٣ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَ وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنِ الْعَيْزَارِ بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ الْحُصَيْنِ الْأَحْمَسِيَّةِ، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُو يَخْطُبُ بِعَرَفَةَ وَعَلَيْهِ بُرْدَةٌ مُتَلَفِّعُ بِهَا، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: «إِنْ أُمِّرَ عَلَيْكُمْ عَبْدٌ حَبَشِيٌّ مُجَدَّعٌ فَاسْمَعُوا وَأَطِيعُوا، مَا قَادَكُمْ بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ»
