Muhammad informed us, saying: Waki' reported to us, from Sufyan, from Harun al-Hadrami, from Abu Bakr ibn Hafs: "That 'Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah have mercy upon him, appointed a man from among the Muslims. The man said: 'O Commander of the Faithful, advise me.' He replied: 'Sit down, and keep my secret.'"
