Hanbal said: I heard Abu Abd Allah say: The hadiths are contrary to this; the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Hear and obey, even if it be to a mutilated slave."
قَالَ حَنْبَلٌ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: الْأَحَادِيثُ خِلَافُ هَذَا، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اسْمَعْ وَأَطِعْ، وَلَوْ لِعَبْدٍ مُجَدَّعٍ»
