462 - Muhammad ibn Sulayman al-Hadrami informed us, saying: Ahmad narrated to us, saying: al-Harith ibn Mansur narrated to us, saying: I asked al-Hasan ibn Salih about his [the Prophet's] statement: "Whoever I am his master (mawla), then 'Ali is his master," and he replied: "[It refers] to the religion."
